Question Disconnect Fuel Lines 1995 K1500 Sub

I know this may seem like a dumb question, but I'm really not knowing how to disconnect the fuel line from the tank. I really don't see where the disconnect tool will go to be effective. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also there is only one electrical connection on the fuel pump, and I just don't want to yank it out. Yes, I have clearance and there is only one electrical wiring connection. This baffles me as the Haynes Chevrolet & GMC Pick-Ups '88-'00, Suburban 1992 thru 1999, show two. Also the fuel line connections shown are different. The fuel lines I have are not the three way split in the book. There are no tabs on the fuel line disconnect as well, and I am having a pain using the disconnect tool.
