Do the heated seats have a "fan"?

After a few minutes of warm-up for the front heated seats, I hear what sounds like fans running under the seat. Is this normal for heat?. I have an 09 LTZ with AC "cooled" seats.

I have an 09 as well, the seats seem to take a while to warm up, but once hot they get HOT on 3...

No fan noises from mine in heat mode, but i wonder if u could run the fan and the heat...

I have tried to run both in my 07 Escalade, if I turn on the seat heater and then push the fan button the heater shuts off. And yes, the seats get darn hot on level 3.

Heated seats are great for sore lower backs.

Sore Backs---I aggree

I live in south FL usually run the AC seats but once in a while the heated seats feel so good for you back.
My wife runs them in her Acura all the time. It is soothing
