Does "Service Suspension" shut down electronic shocks?
2007 Suburban LTZ 110k
I have the common "service suspension" indicator on and I am thinking its my compressor but haven't had time to diagnose it yet. What's really bothering me is that the truck rides like crap now. Very floaty and not tight like previous to the "service suspension" warning.
Could any suspension issue that triggers the warning lamp cause a suspension shut-down all together?
Basically if it is a bad compressor, what does that have to doe with the electronic portion of adjusting the shocks on the fly??
Any info would be gratefully appreciated!

Your shocks aren't fully functioning as before because they don't have anything pumping air in/out of them. Your computer likely still senses the psi being off (and/or weight distribution in different side of Burb) but can't do anything to adjust because the compressor is not working.
