Default door locks

second door won't lock, was wondering if the accuator would lockup to the point that you can't even move the rod to try and lock by hand?

I believe you can still move the rod by hand and it may not actually be locked up. I had an 08 Avalanche into the dealer 3 times for the problem... Long story short, they replaced the whole system. The single door with that problem was now fixed but then some of the other doors did not unlock on occasion. I'm sure this wasn't much help, just sharing the experience...

I have had accuator's go bad before. once you take the door apart you should find your problem. accuator will not cost much.

yep, especially if they are power door locks. the solenoid is at the bottom of the door and is where water will freeze and rust in the winter time. They cover it with a thin rubber seal with over time, dont count on it.
