Default DVD Help

I have just purchased a 2007 LTZ and I am new to the forum. My question is about the Rear Entertainment System. I have the NAV in my Tahoe. Whenever I put a DVD into the system, I can get it to pull up on the flip-down monitor. However, after turning the vehicle off and then back on, I can get the DVD to play on the NAV screen in the front (when in park), but nothing appears on the flip-down screen. I have tried pushing each of the buttons on the console controls in the back, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem? Thanks.

You must push the red power button on the remote control to get the rear screen back on.

Thanks. I bought my Tahoe used and they had to order me a DVD remote. Is that the only way to get the power on in the back? I thought the power button on the rear controls would do the trick, but that does not seem to work.

It is the only way that I'm aware of.
