Default enableling DRL tahoe 2009

I have an export/Intenational 2009 Tahoe. Its has the bulbs for DRL but since they are not required overseas, they are disabled. Anyone knows how to enable them? I mean if the bulbs and wiring are there, why they don't come on. The car is a full option and the normal headlights turn on when its dark.

Default computer

because GM told the computer to not turn them on.

Your dealer should have a StarScan tool, no wait, thats Jeep, it's a Tech II programmer I think, and that should allow them to turn on/off the DRLs in it's options.

Depending on their mood at the time, they may charge you for the privilege of setting something that should be driver adjustable.

I have a programmer like tool for my Jeep that let me set axle ratio, tire size, and DRL settings... it's more for off road stuff, but maybe there is a GM one..?

I'm a fan of DRLs and auto on/off headlights... I'm so tired of people at dawn/dusk who don't know how to turn ON their lights...

the gov't won't get you, and I'm much less likely to run you over accidentally...

Or they may have just left out the DRL fuse.
