The ol' burb is startin' to knock (loud) at start-up........it has gotten worse since I changed oil, now that its cooler, it knocks loud for about 5 miles or until it warms up a bit. Who woulda thunk it....shes only got 197000 miles!!

 

Rod or main bearings maybe.

 

Sounds deep and "solid" like a main. Maybe she'll hold together for about a year, I want another diesel truck. I paid $2500 for it, about 6 months ago, only expecting to get year or so out of it.
