Default Engine Options?

I'm looking to replace my tired 350. Who knows what my options are? Ideally I would like to figure out something I could drop in without a lot of modification

Well, I assume you have a Tahoe or Suburban since that's were you posted, but it would help to know what year it is at least.

Do you want something easy, and reliable or faster and expensive or super fast and unreliable. I would recommend getting a dealer engine. It has a 3year 100,000 mile warranty that you can take in for warranty work at any GM dealer, even 10,000 miles away from home. Or you could build something with your engine (no warranty).

My 95 burb has the stock original 350. It was rated at 190hp when it was new. I've got over 200,000 on it now, and its tired. I would like to figure out an option that considerably increase the hp, and not cost me an arm + a leg in modifications. Basically something that would be able to drop in.

you could alwasy order a crate engine. you can get them stock to crazy built. a decent built 350 would only cost 3,000.
