Engine power reduced, service stabilitrak, etc
Hello!
Before I ask how I can fix this, (i spent about 20 minutes reading thru a forum asking this exact question), let me provide a little more details
I drive a 2007 chevy tahoe LT with the 5.3L engine. I received the car as a hand me down from my father at roughly 138-139k miles (currently at 149k miles). Aside from a tire blowout on the freeway and few whiskey dents (thanks dad) it has no real problems besides whats been going on recently. I can drive the car for about 20-30 minutes and after that it completely goes into limp mode. I have my suspicions as to what it may be (faulty oil sensor, i keep getting an OBDII code for it) but i also fear it could be something else as i’ve had this problem since before the oil sensor went out. Is there anyone who could recommend a fix to this problem?
i’m open to any recommendations or potential fixes.
if any more details are needed i will drop em in replies,
thank you
