I have about 3K miles on my Hoe and was wondering if there is a problem. With the AC on and driving at about 30 mph when I press the gas pedal it feels like the engine is boggin down...like no power right away....kind of a delay in acceleration if I keep pressing the pedal down it downshifts and takes off. Does anyone else experience this or should I pay a vist to the dealer?

 

Per an earlier post by ZX, I believe that's the torque mgmt system that has about a 1/2 second delay to prolong tranny life.

 

Almost feels like an old 4 barrel carburator with that slight delay....appreciate the info on torque management.

 

Well on the 4 bbl, it's probably an accelerator pump that's gone south. I can still work on those problems.

New software for E-85 calibration:

Hold off for now as there seems to be a throttle lag issue related to the new software...

Zx --The lag is caused by the updated engine control module calibration software that was written to ensure proper ethanol content calculation. Evidently it is leaning the mixture out during certain operational conditions, hold tight and GM will release an update to resolve this issue.

I am starting to wonder if mine had this reprogram in it when I bought it.....I am having serious throttle lag.

 

My 07 Hoe does the same thing..... Trypunching it at a complete stop and see if you can get it to bark the tires. MyHoe won't even chirp them.......
