Default Scratches on windshield

I have a brand new (1.5 weeks old) Z71 and noticed that I have a few hairline scratches on my windshield. I can only see them in certain lighting (esp when the sun shines directly thru the windshield...sunrise, sunset). Does anyone know ofa product that can safely and effectively remove the scratches?

First, do you know that they weren't there when you got it? If not, then try to get the dealer to take care of it. There are some compounds available that can remove very fine scratches. Try an auto glass shop.

Distortion and stress cracking is not the same as a scratch, and you may not want ot replace the windshield over a tiny scratch that does not effect visibility.

There is such a thing as glass polish.
