Engine revving up in park
I took my throttle body off of my 2007 Chevy Tahoe and cleaned it I put it back on and now when I put my Tahoe in park when the RPMs are around 1000 it just revs up higher and higher as if I am pressing on the gas the only way for it to stop is for me to put it in drive and eventually it will calm down or just turn the vehicle off I checked most of my hoses and make sure they were tight and there were no leaks is there any suggestions of why I could be doing this. Also if I put my foot on the brake and I let the engine come down to around 500 RPMs then I put the car in park the engine doesn't rev up but if it is above 500 RPMs close to a thousand then the engine revs up after I place it in park
Hopefully you didn't overload the TB with cleaner and screw it up. No need to pull it off to clean it.
