Just bought a used 07 LTZ from a private owner and was wondering if anyone had experiences with extended warrenties?

Double-check the company before handing over any cash. I got an extended warranty, and when the A/C went out a couple of months later, I took it to the dealer, who tore it apart and called the warranty company, just to find out they were out of business. In researching, I found that the state of Texas had shut the company down a year earlier for ripping people off. Where did my money go? Who knows. I was out $1275 for my error in not checking them out before hand, with absolutely no recourse.

 

I'm not a fan, but I also like to work on cars... it has 5 year 100 k power train right? how many miles are on on it? If GM + Chrysler get together, I wonder if the Tahoe could get a lifetime powertrain...
