You'll want to paint the outside of the bowties. First scuff the surface w/ some 400 grit paper, then apply some DupliColor adhesion promoter or equiv, then several lite coats of DupliColor paint or equiv in whatever color you want (they have most late model matching colors), then several lite coats of DupliColor clearcoat or equiv, then wetsand w/400, 600, 1000 grit, and then polish with 3M PerfectIt or equiv. Wax it and reinstall.
