I dont know, but I dont like the way it looks!

Does anyone have their factory front emblem they want to sell me cheap? I would like another one! I ended up painting the entire emblem rather than just the middle. I think I like the black border! Let me know if anyone has one they want to sell me cheap. Thanks, Landon.

Mine did that (touched the top trim) and had to put some hidden spacers to push it down and then the bottom bar does need to be cut out. Not sure why that's necessary but it worked.

I cut a couple of quarter inch pieces off a popsicle stick and painted the cut end black. Pushed it in between the top bar and the bottom of the grill surround trim. I pushed them back in past the leading edge of the grill and the pressure of the grill holds them there. Kind of jerry-rigged but it works.

Got the grill from AutoPartsGallery on-line.

i think that is where i got mine too! i would like to see what yours looks like! I hate the darn cutout area, it is retarded. The way it fits now, the bar could go straight across. Show the pic when you get it. Thanks.

Landon:

How much do you want for the billet bowtie? I'd be interested... PM me how much you want w/shipping and an address, and I will send you a check. After it clears you could ship it if that works for you.

Jason,
I looked closely at the billet bowtie yesterday. I hate to even sell it to you. It has some slight scratches and also some pits from rocks or road debri. It is to cheap of an item to try and sell you when you can get one new for not much more.

I got it from ebay, i cant remember the seller. I will have to check for sure. However just search 2007 tahoe emblem. There are some that have an outline/border, some with no outline/border. I have the no outline emblem. I believe it was around $30+SH, somewhere in between 30-40 shipped.

They have some chrome ones on ebay that are $75, I would have preferred the chrome vs. the billet aluminum like I got. Let me know if you find them on ebay!

Biglg, now didn't I warn you to paint the inner and leave the black trim edge! Couldn't leave well enough alone.
