Coastaletech now has the GMX320 unit, which supports video ipod. Has anyone seen one yet? Looks like all the normal lockpick goodies, but I can also scroll IPOD movies on my touchscreen and play them. Now I can hide the ipod for good and be able to use the audio AND video files on the screens.

After further review I don't believe this product has any interface with an ipod. There is a separate ipod lockpick, however the GMX320 is more similar to the Lockpick and Superlockpick. Correct me if that is wrong, but that is what I gathered from reading the product overview.

 

yea i do not think it allows for the ipod functioning through the screen, still its a pretty good upgrade from the super lockpick. Especially being able to use the rear view camera anytime

 

so basically this will replace the 3rd gen and super lockpick?

Does anyone know if this unit will display the camera when you put the car in reverse? Or do we alwayshave to hit the mute buttons 4 times to display it

 

I believe this product will be the latest and greatest to the lockpick and superlockpick. Not replace, as the previous mentioned have limited features that are sought by some...i.e. may not have need for bluetooth. This will still have the camera function when you put the car in reverse, and will have rear view camera when vehicle is in drive. Press lockout, then mute x 4. You only have to do the sequence of button codes when overriding a factory limitation. I.e. press mute x 4 to activate the dvd screen while driving, which is normally locked out during normal vehicle motion.

 

Does anyone know forsure whether or not I would be able to scroll ipod playlist on the nav screen with this new unit so that I can keep it in the glove box?
