Flex fuel
Not trying to hijack the thread, but can someone explain what the various “E##” numbers actually mean, and what we can use in our Flex Fuel trucks? For example, does E85 mean the fuel is 85% ethanol, or 85% gas? I’ve seen variants on the these numbers and find it confusing.
I have never used E-gas and have always used just regular gas, but sometimes I find the E-fuels significantly cheaper traveling in other states and it might save some $$ on those longer trips. Wouldn’t use it all the time, but occasionally when $$ can be tight.
Thanks!

But all joking aside BIG CORN want to sell Ethanol made from corn, just like sugar/sucrose is now made from HFCS, not beet or cane sugar.
