Default Front Bumper Question

I want to put a plate on my front bumper similar to what others have used and need to know how to do it. My front bumper does not have the screws and plastic bolts like the ones in the rear for attaching a license plate. There are two indentations but no holes for screws. Has anyone else had this and attached a plate without screwing up the finish on the front bumper?

TIA ... Allen

Just use a couple of self tapping screws in the indentations, the dealer should be very willing to install your front license plate for you.

Double back 3M tape works for me. No holes.

Cool idea! Any pictures of yours? How does it hold up in less than perfect weather or washing? Where did you get it?

Thanks for the idea.

I know I have seen it in Target in the tool area. I am sure Shark can add some places and how its held up in rain and humidity.

Most auto parts stores carry 3M trim mounting tape. It's behind the Mizzou plate. Been on almost a year thru Midwest summer and winter and many car washings.

That looks good! Do you have the double sided tape at all four corners of the plate? What is your plan for removal should you ever sell or trade in your Tahoe?

Thanks ... Allen

You are all very lucky that you aren't required by law to put an ugly license plate up there like we do in Colorado.
