Question Front Camera for TAHOE LTZ 2011

Gents ,

I am a new member and I wish you can advise me. I had a vehicle with front and back camera, and I wish to ask if I can wire a front camera for my Chevy TAHOE 2011 LTZ so I can see it in the DVD Screen.

i.e. for example i can select Aux to see the front.

Please advise.

Regards

Default yep

i second the lock pick.

i believe you can even get the camera from them.

But you may want the really bad *** model:

adds lots more camera hook ups.

Default cuz

be cuz it's

P I M P

I wouldn't mind some side ones facing back, for backing up trailers... with a 26' boat attached, all the rear camera shows is... BOAT.

also, it needs a wiper for the backup camera, heavy rain makes the backup camera USELESS.

unless you are driving a school bus or a big rig you do need it but with just a regular truck?
I'm for a camera in the back of the trailer!!! and back up lights too, that's exactly what I have been thinking for some time now!!!

Default hmm

well, your truck has the 7 pin trailer right? the camera is just one wire...

instead of the one (purple i think) wire that is used for reverse lights on a trailer (which wouldn't work for me, since if I'm backing up, it's going in the water, so the plug is un plugged)...

anyway, use that wire connection for a camera on the back of the trailer... then when your backing up the trailer, switch the head unit to that camera.

it would be permenently on the trailer, and not any more to plug up.

because your 7 pin supplies 12v DC to the brake controller's battery, so you have 12v, ground, and a way back to the truck via the not commonly used reverse pin on the 7 pin connector.

I tell you, sometimes my awesomeness even amazes me.

of course, the image will be backwards, then when you back up, it's backwards because the trailer goes left if you turn the wheel right, and etc lol.
