Default Front Struts

Front Struts broke on my 2008 Suburban ltz 4x4, called dealer asking $495 for each, is there a aftermarket strut that can be used??
I saw these and seem like they would work...any ideas????

Monroe makes a good product. It combines quality and price. You can also get AC Delco struts at other places like RockAuto for much less than the dealer charges. Check them all out before buying.

I just had KYB Gas-A-Just front struts and rear shocks installed on my 2008 Tahoe LT 4WD. Huge increase in motion control; truck feels far more planted and there is far less body lean while cornering. Steering response is improved and the vehicle tracks better in high-speed cruising. Very pleasant ride. I highly recommend them.

Not sure if you have electronic ride control or not but if you are, these are a good deal (I just put these on my 07 LTZ) for $247 ea:
Amazon.com: ACDelco 580-433 GM Original Equipment Front Shock Absorber: Automotive Amazon.com: ACDelco 580-433 GM Original Equipment Front Shock Absorber: Automotive

These aren't bolt in and go like the quick struts but, then again, I don't think the quick struts go on one with ride control.
