Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

I have always heard that you get the best mileage at 55 mph.

It sounds impressive until you throw in the mix of those that want to add another 10 mph on top of that and ride your *** and then throw in a good mix of tractor trailers with some good cross winds and the 8 hour drive from Austin to El Paso is a white-knuckle take 5 years off your life, ride that you hope you don't have to repeat anytime soon..

I pulled an enclosed trailer with my car across an US interstate highway and had to get off; I couldn't keep up with the flow of traffic...75mph. Would of been a great drive if not towing.

Oh, come on! I've pulled my 29-ft travel trailer across Texas. Wasn't that big of a deal.

And you have a Tahoe, not even a Suburban. Crosswinds? Try that while pulling a 300 sq-ft sail.
