Default Fuel pump

I have a 2000 model Tahoe and just put a new fuel pump in it it went about 25-30 miles and quit again no pressure on the fuel rail is there something else that I can look at or did I just get a bad pump

Possible bad pump. Could be a bad connection at it's connector or the relay for it is bad. I'd check / swap relay first before dropping tank to check connector.

What brand of pump did you install? I have heard of the cheap aftermarket pumps failing pretty quickly. To avoid having to drop the tank again only use Delco or Delphi pumps.
