Fuel Pump? Fuel Pressure Regulator? on a tahoe 07
#42
Called up my local parts supply and seems like the Bosch pump is available and it is $365 plus tax of course. I am hoping that this will solve my issues. I had the car sitting for almost 2 days now and have not started it I am going out in the next few minutes to turn it over. I guess I will return the TPS & CPS and put the balance and get the fuel pump. If it turn out that I need the other parts I can always get them. SO my issues are the catalyst sensors pre and post and the fuel pump. Thinking about doing fuel filter as well.
I am going to do as much of the work I can on my own since I dont have anyone to lend me a hand but I am hoping for some positive results because my truck runs to damn good to give up on and gas mileage is not even a factor and I am not sure as of why but I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth. I am getting better mileage than my family mini-van 2010 Dodge Caravan on my monster and I love having the sapce and comfort of my Chevy.Any advice out there let me know I will be keeping an eye on the forum.

Came back in before my trip to sears, and guess what the truck started, I am going to go for the pump and the cat sensors. I am getting stumped on this no start thing, the symptoms are so intermittent. BUT I did swap that relay not sure any more.

Its possible it starts after sitting because the pump is cold, and everything is tight until it warms up....
Do the pump, clear any codes and drive it a week...

Pump Done. Codes cleared. I used the airtex brand. Hope it works out the truck is running mint now, has not hesitated on starting at all. Running smooth no issues. I now installed all four sensors as well hopefully all will be ok.
So far this week this is the most money I have spent on this truck since owning it for the past 3 years.
New:
battery, fuel pressure regulator,4 sensors, fuel pump.
