My wife's 2004 Suburban died while driving - not getting fuel.

Fuel filter is OK. I am guessing the fuel pump. Knocking on the bottom of the tank it sounds empty, although gas guage shows 3/4 tank, is the gas tank double walled - or could the fuel guage just be off?

Also is there any way to drain the tank? he vechile does not start and both the fuel filler hose and vent hose have metal screens at the tank spout, preventing a siphon hose to go in.

lastly could it be anything else?
