What type of gas should I use for a '94 burb??? regular or high octane???

Use the lowest octane that you can, if the engine knocks or pings then step up a grade until the noise goes away or have the engine de-carboned.
the 5.7L TBI engine in your 94 Suburban is designed to run on Regular Unleaded which is 85 to 88 octane in most places depending on elevation.
