Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

You're correct. For the road, a locker isn't fun. Air locker is the only way. If he has a locker, I would think he would know. You can hear it engage and dis-engage all the time. Good call.

If you need a front locker, selectable on/off is the only way to go!

My Rubicon came w/air lockers, I've only had to use the front one a few times... I 'wheel at Rausch Creek in Tower City, PA. I will see if I can post some pics or a link to my FB
I was just up at Raush Creek last weekend with my 87 K5, it has a limited slip rear and an open front. I was following 2 jeeps on blue and black trails, they each had to use their winch at least once and I didn't.
Lockers are great but so is knowing how to drive.

Yea, 50% driver 50% machine... I've seen bad things happen when your only 3" off the line!

I don't 'wheel in the winter, but maybe you'd want to hit the trails some time this spring?

Drop me a pm if you would like to go, I may be going again this Saturday.
I didn't get stuck or hung up but I do have a nice dent in the passenger door from a rather large rock and 3 broken rear leaf springs. What the heck, I paid $500. for it and got new springs yesterday for $25.
