Default Gauges going crazy (up & down)

I have a Lifted 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ, recently bought this because I’ve heard so many great things about the Tahoe, it has 144,000 miles. I’ve had it around 4 weeks now with no issues but yesterday on the way home from work my speedometer, gas gauge, rpm, gauge and door locks where all going crazy simultaneously. It will pop up “No parking assist” & “Stability track off”
It doesn’t effect my driving or actually shut off or anything BUT it does start shifting very rough between 1st & 2nd gear. (Never had any transmission issues before)
I’ve search through and through and haven’t really seen a fix. I’ve heard bad battery wires, control module underneath bad tire and wires under parking break could be the issue. Just hear to see if anyone had or has this current issues and knows an easy fix for it.

Welcome to the forum. You might try searching on stability track or parking assist on this section of the forum to see if there's any answers while waiting on a response.

Default Negative battery cable

These 07-09 tahoes suburbans have a high resistance in the negative battery cables. Your symptoms would lead me to ck the resistance

At the GM dealer I work for we have seen lots of this where the battery cables have too much resistance
