Default GM differential whining

I work at a shop and we work on all makes and models of cars and never have any problems when we install new diff. gears into our customers cars, except for General Motors SUV and trucks. We get constant come backs for these SUVs and trucks for a whining noise coming from the newly installed gears. Any advice on why we get this problem? we have already tried adjusting the backlash and it might be good for a bit or a few weeks but it always comes back so fast. It mostly happens on 07+ models, but i also have my buddies 2012 Silverado at the shop right now with the same problem with recently upgraded gears. What can be done to assure that we dont get anymore customer come backs?

don't use aftermarket crown and pinion. We only use the more expensive oem parts now due to the same issues.
