Default GM takes a more proactive stance in it's latest

endeavor to kill off it's customers.

Killing off people when they crash, not being sufficient for GM, they've decided to skip the possible safe driving of millions, and instead go right for the goal.

Man, if thats due to a GM manufacturing issue, they better find the root cause fast!

I sent this to my Chevy rep. It would appear after a GM investigation, that the driver was smoking in the truck and dropped his cigarette. Thus starting the fire.

Just my 2 cents, but those flames appear to be coming from the outside of the vehicle not from the inside...most of the time a salesman rides with you when doing a test drive...that's not the case here?

Default salesman

most articles make no mention of a sales person riding along... actually none of the ones I read.

some did mention a 'leaking fluid'

WOW!!

I do understand how smokers are being increasingly demonized in this society, but...I gotta say....if that really was their conclusion...that it is BULL!

Default smokers

I'm not a fan of smokers, mostly because many of their actions directly impact me. I'm not saying all smokers are bad, however the behaviors are concerning.

If smoking caused this fire, I'd be concerned that

1. someone was smoking on a test drive of a vehicle they didn't own.
2. said vehicle then burned to a crisp.
