Hello all,

I still have a squeal/squeak in the rear only (not front), when braking and also turning right without braking. I have changed the following components at all four wheels.
rotors, calipers, brake pads, brake hoses and also conducted a full brake fluid change. What could be the problem?

 

make sure the backing plates aren't just rusted out and rubbing on something. You can also check the wheel bearings.

 

Thank you. The backing plates are fine. Is there any other way to check the bearings without pulling the axle seals out?

 

sometimes debris can get trapped in there too.

jack up the rear, grab the wheel with both hands on opposite sides on the perimeter, and try to wobble it. Or lift it up and down. There shouldn't be any slop.

while you're there give the wheels a spin while a helper works the brakes. You should be able to zero right in on the sound. Maybe something in the brakes is dragging.
