I have the factory sunroof complete with rails and wiring. Sunshade and all. I will be buying the new headliner as well, but I was wondering if the roof on the tahoes were the same for both with and without factory sunroof's. I have a really good body shop that is going to do the work for me, they only work on high end cars and they owe me a favor. Any opinions on what I want to do? Has it been done before? Thanks for the input.

 

dont forget the drain lines, the factory sunroofs are not water tight nor were they designed to be, that is why the drain lines are in place.

 

oh yeah my mistake for not including that.. yes i do have all four drain lines as well

do all sunroofs 'leak'?

All I know is that windshield replacements never seem the same or as good as factory... and aftermartket sunroofs just don't work... (and i know your using factory parts) ... and I wouldn't risk cutting up a new truck...

how about you have them install a lift kit for you and some 33s? or a cool paint job
