So I got an 07 Hoe, an LS model. It has the 5.3l V8 with 3.42 rearend. I didnt purchase any towing package that I know of. What comes standard with the trailering package? And what comes standard without it? Do the hoes have a tranny cooler? And it is already wired up for a brake controller correct?

Has anyone replaced the gears yet in these hoes? How much did you pay to do it? Did you notice a big improvement?

I am not sure if the LS comes with a tranny cooler, but it should be easy to see if one is included. Look at the front of your radiator and see if you see the tranny cooler attached to the front of it. Hopefully someone else will give you better details

 

You get the hitch and connector. Maybe a bigger battery and alternator, don't remember. Not sure about brake controller harness. Search this forum as there was a topic dealing with brake controllers a while back. Only 4WD with 4.10 gears gets tranny cooler, I believe.
