Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Just joined. Truck details are in Sig. Do a lot of Towing and off-road driving with this Tahoe. My wife uses it as her grocery getter and baby hauler. We do A LOT of long distance driving in it. Its been a good truck so far with the exception of roasting the Tranny at 50k (note to self...don't tow 12k lbs with the Tahoe!!) Looking forward to sharing my knowledge and learning from yours!!!

I don't have any recent pics with the new tires....I'll work on that. I hauled a 14k gvw equipment trailer full of broken up concrete, with a 463 Bobcat skid steer on top. Power was fine but the steering sure was light!! Only pulled it like 8 miles but that combined with regular 7000lb tows sealed the deal.

Thought about it. I really wanted to do an OEM trans temp gauge but after looking at a write-up on it I decided to wasn't worth the effort. I still am planning on an aftermarket gauge though. After I do that I will evaluate the need for a heavier cooler.

Does anyone have a write up on replacing the fuel pump? We are doing a 3k mile round trip to MI this summer and I have this nightmare of loosing the pump in the middle of nowhere and having to pay $1000 to have it changed....I think that I would rather do it myself in a napa parking lot in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks for the Welcoming!!
