Default Have a question?

First off what kind of floor mats does everybody have in the front seat and in the second row of seats? I have some cheap ones in it right now but I would like to get some that match the carpet better. Also I was told that I can plug my iPod up to the front radio and it will play? I have the 3cd unit and I am guessing I need the double male adapter for my iPod and I just plug it in the input?

For the iPod, all you need is a male-to-male mini-jack plug (3.5mm???) Super easy, just go to any store like Best Buy, Circuit City, or Radio Shack. As for the carpets, I agree. I have the cheap looking ones too. I have been looking to get the custom Lloyd mats though.

On the mats..
I normally buy some cheap ones to put over the OEMs to keep them nice. Since the Oems are not that great. I'm going to buy good ones and put the OEM on top during inclement times of the year.

If I'm buying good ones it's always Lloyds. They make a NICE product.

I'll drink to that. Isn't it a shame that a $50K vehicle comes with Walmart mats and not even one for third row?

I just put the Lloyd's mats on my wish list.

For every vehicle I own I install Fox Weather Boots. Hands down the best made ever! They are molded plastic with carpet overlay. Waterproof and if you do get them wet they direct the water to the door sill. Just got them yesterday, and I ordered them on Monday. They shipped out FedEx ground from IL.

I've got the weathertech floor mats which are really slick! They lip up on the sides so no dirt, , mud, water, or snow get onto the carpet. The mats are also a hard'ish plastic so nothing seeps through. I remember on my last Tahoe the snow in the winter would track in, stick to teh carpet, and freeze when the vehicle turns off. Then in spring all the ice/snow would start melting and get all wet and stinky. Not any more. I just pull the whole mat out and shake off the grime. SLICK! Oh, and the one for the second row is a solid runner so no issue about getting mud or anything on the carpet.

I too have the weathertechs 1st/2nd/cargo. Nice fit. To give it a little more lux look we made a template of the weathertech's flat area and had LLyod's make us some custom embroideredmats to sit on top. Both companies are top notch
