headlights

The headlights on my 2001 Tahoe sometimes want come on you have to fool with it to get them to come on this mourning they didn't work pushed in the parking brake and they came on what's up with that anyone know

If the parking brake is set, the automatic headlights are disabled. So there is a switch/interlock between the two. Maybe moving the brake rubbed off some light corrosion on the switch.
