Default HELP !!! 2007 trany blow !!!

OMG, i was driving home and all the sudden "bang, chrrrr, grrrrr", RPMs raise up but car didn't accelerate.
When i set 1 or 2 gear, car moves but makes weird noises. third gear works nice and smooth and fourth not at all. When i got home (about 3 miles away) i cant back up because also "R"verse wont work !!!

Hmmm, what now? I have 2007 burb with 62k. I'm second owner. Is that trany under warranty ?
I have also Starauto - Interstate coverage, but they closed already.

Plz, tell me someone , that powertrain warranty is valid !!!

According to the GM warranty FAQ it is transferable and is covered for 5yrs 100k miles regardless of owner ship....

I think you will be okay with the CAI and the tires thou if you have a power programmer or tuner chip I would remove it.....

You might query the dealer's svc dept before you take it in re: the wheels since they're part of the powertrain. Just act like you're checking before buying some wheels. Probably OK if 22" or less since GM puts 22s on them.

sounds like the rev. shell broke. 4l60e trans seem to do that some times. hope the dealer takes care of this for ya. Don't see why they would not. the 5year 100,000 warranty should be ok. The last thing I got the dealer said I was covered till it ended. on my used car.

Sorry to say the '07 tranny is... umm... junk? Sorry. Look up the MSN reliability ratings... Maybe you can talk them into dropping the newer 6 speed in there for you...
