The piece coming off the pressure port of
the power steering pump of a 99 k2500 burb with 7.4. Any help of what it is called so I can try find where to order would be greatly appreciated. None of the local part stores
have a clue!

 

So that is the Electronic Varible Orfice. It was suppose to help control pressure base on speed. Didn’t work well so they discontinued them. If you have a model that used it you have to make sure you order a pump w/ resivoir that comes with the EVO bypass pipe. Hopefully this helps someone before they buy the wrong pump. Good luck.
