Default Help me plzzzz....very confused...

I have a 2005 chevy tahoe owned it since new well taken care of has 120000 miles now never had any problems... the other day i was driving hit a lil dip in the road an the car completely shut off no power... pulled over an tried to start their is no cranking the door locks will not work the windows will not roll up or down... so i took of the battery cables watied a few minutes put them back on an noticed that the windows an door locks work but as soon as i go to try an start it an turn the key the locks and windows stop working... an basically it does this every time i take off the cables an let it reset an turn the key again its like everything shorts out... what does this sound like i could be plz someone help me...

Welcome to the forum.

Check the battery ground connection both at the battery and chassis. Also make sure the connections at the battery are clean and tite.

I'm going to guess it's a connection problem from what you are describing. check the battery out, make sure all your grounds are good (even the ground strap from the motor to the frame/firewall wherever it may go) and check back.
