Yes. I just put both these parts on my '07 Suburban LTZ back in February. Wasn't too bad of a job. Drop the spare tire first. Won't be able to do it with that in the way. I had to reset the code with my reader afterwards, but the code never came back. Good luck.

Update from last year
So, anyways......I had to take my Suburban to a real mechanic for repair. Guess what? It was like a $2.00 Fuse.
The dealer I bought it from had to fix a problem before I would purchase....so they ended up eating a $500.00 repair.
After they "fixed" my original problem, I had the issue with the p0449 code. The problem wasn't any of the purge valves, solenoid valves, or gas cap.....it was a fuse!!! Funny, the vehicle worked fine and "check engine" never came on until AFTER the Stealership "fixed" my original problem.
just thought i'd update it....a year later! lol

Code P0455
I am also getting a P0455 code BUT..... my issue is that i cannot fill the tank at more than a snails pace.
I could care less about the emissions issue (no emissions checks in Florida)
I am guessingthat its not the gas cap. I tried replacing the Canister vent valve solenoid already with part #
Duralast/Canister Vent Valve Solenoid PV485
OK so......that did not work....now what? any help is appreciated.

p0455
I am also getting the code p0455 on my 2007 chevy Silverado 2500hd, 6.0, 4x4 new body style. I have already replaced the solenoid located on the back of the gas tank, upon further inspection I followed the corrugated vent line from the solenoid towards the front of the truck and found another rectangle shaped canister on the end of the hose. it was just hanging freely under my truck(not attached to the intake manifold like everything I have found says it should be), I can not find anywhere where this should attach to the intake manifold like it says it should. Can anyone help me with pictures or any other way to find where this attaches to the motor. it is the part on the left in the pic below. Thanks NIck
