Help please 99 Tahoe Nu Fuel Pump Nu Relay Pump won’t pump?
Hello Chevrolet Community, New member here. Apologies if I’ve missed a Post already Covering this exact problem.
Have 1999 Tahoe LT 5.7L 130K always had a Full Fuel Tank & always Ran Lk a Top! But then it
Sat for 1 winter. Come Springtime th fuel Pump wouldn’t come on. So Sat another year.
Just last week I Pumped out th fuel & Removed the Fuel Tank.I Installed a New GM Fuel Pump. Re-installed fuel Tank. Turn key On, Pump won’t come On. Installed New Fuel Relay. Pump won’t come On. Tested 12V into Relay? YES! Put 12V to Relays Corner Fuel Pump Terminal & Pump Turns On & Runs constantly! Remove Power Lead from Terminal Re-install Fuel Relay And Turn ign key to On, Pump won’t come on! ???
Friend warned of Worn Ign Key Syndrome on his 2000 Chevy & th Tahoes Computer System Re-Learning a New Key! He talked me into trying my Brand New ign Key & Turning Key On Leaving key On 10 minutes… turn Off then Back On another 10 minutes for Computer To Re-Learn the New ign key! Still Nothing! (I Didn’t think that was th issue)! But tried it anyway.
Please Help.
