Default HID Issue w/ 07 Suburban

I installed an HID kit for the Lows only, direct wire to battery both positive and negative, however when starting or when they auto on, one or both HID lights will not come on unless I reset the auto on. It is random and intermittant. Is there something I missed or need to do different, thanks.

Welcome to the Chevrolet Forum. Did you use a relay(s)?

I did use the relay that came with the harness for the kit. The issue seems to be mostly with initial start up almost as if the Lamp is not recieving enough power to light and it seems to be mostly related to the passenger side light, which is the shortest run to the battery but the longest run from the switch apparently.

Thats really weird, if you use the relay pack that comes with the HIDs you shouldnt have a problem, I installed mine and several others direct connect and upgraded the factory fuses and have never had a problem. Try upgrading your fuses by 5 or 10 amps under the engine compartment fuse box and see fi that works, if that doesnt work then you probably have a faulty bulb or ballast.
