HID for Tahoe?
#2
Most of the aftermarket suppliers offer HID kits. Remember 4300K is white. The higher the color temp, it goes from blue to purple and the lite output decreases and the ability to get stopped increases.

I bought an inexpensive HID kit on ebay. It has the 2 ballast and the 2 low beam H11 bulbs. I went with the 4300K which is like a high white color. I had the 5000K in my silverado and they looked good also. I did not change the high beam or fog lights to HID.

you won't blind anyone unless the bulb is exposed and/or is not coated on the end. some housings have the full bulb exposed and if you put regular HID bulbs in there they WILL glare and blind other drivers unless you get the bulbs that have a coated tip. our truck has the little cover over the bulb and that is enough to keep glare down
