High oil pressure
Afternoon all-
In my 07 burb, which I've had about 5 months now, I notice my oil pressure is running a little high after my most recent oil change. Not alarmingly high, but to the right of center. Comes back closer to center after it runs for a while but never really settles in the middle. Is this normal? I seem to recall it being in the middle before but don't recall for sure. Anyone?

Every now and then an impulse purchase comes in handy. I plugged in my Bluetooth obdii reader to get actual numbers. Warm engine idle is about 43-45 psi oil pressure. Revving up to 3k rpm gets me to about 57-58 psi. Holds steady.
No rebuild, 115k. 5w-30 max life. And a Napa gold filter. I really watched it today. Sits right at that 45 mark after it warms up. When I cruise out on the highway it gets closer to that 58 mark. I'm guessing this isn't normal?
Engine seems healthy for over 100K miles.
