Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

just hope that GM goes back to homelink no matter what the cost difference in production is.
Good luck with that one,the lowest bidder gets the project, did Lear provide the modules free of cost to you? if so I'd say that was a pretty sweet deal and great customer service on there part. I have the Car2U and havent had any issues even with my 10yo openers. I need to check out the Lear Car2u and see if I can get other modules to activate exterior house lights that would be cool.

Jeff,

Their customer service is actually one of the best I have dealt with. They would return calls promptly, look into every avenue for the best solution, were very pleasant to work with even when I probably wasnt.

As for the modules and did I pay for them, NO. They sent me 2 modules for free for two different doors. It was a bit of a pain and I did waste about 4 total hours between conversations on the phone, attempting to link my doors to the factory system, and installing the modules. If the instructions would have been correct I could have cut that time in half.

Lear customer service was very very good. I was also dealing directly with a supervisor which may have helped. I had the modules in 2 days. I do believe that the modules or possibly the lear system has greater range than the homelink or possibly just the lear systems without the modules.
