Default 2011 Suburban 1500 LT - Home Link Question

Bouhgt a 2011 Suburban 1500 LT new last year. We never even thought to check, but it didn't have the Universal Home Link (hard to believe for $40K+, but that's for another thread). I'm tired of carrying garage door openers in the car. I called the dealership we bought the car from and asked if it was an option and they told me to check their website. It doesn't show up as an option, but I find that hard to believe.

Any help on determining if it is an option and what the correct part # would be?

Welcome to the forum.

AFAIK, it's standard on each model. Check the owner's manual.

Illini Fan 99,

The Universal Home Remote is not available in the LS trim. It is available on the LT trim in equipment group 1LT and luxury package.

While you could probably get the necessary parts from your parts dept, it may not be a simple DIY install.

Hi, if I may chime in. I'm a new owner of an 12 suburban lt with everything accept a home link. The reason was that I purchased a rental trade in (to the dealership). My salesman informed me that most rentals they buy will not have a home link.
