Default How to get old man smell out of seatbelt...

HEY, GUYS

Curious what other use to get "old man smell" out of the driver seatbelt? 1999 k 2500.. I used a bottle of Tilex type--but w/o all the bleach..cleaner at walmart with some bleach in it. (didnt discolor it or my wife would kill me) I had a 97 Chrys van once that had same issue. On that one I tried everything...but that human oil is the worst...I had to boil that belt to finally get it clean.

With the cleaner on this go around, it did get alot of dirt out after soaking the belt and scrubbing it with a towel...gross!!

How easy is it to take out the driver belt on my 99?

You want to be extremely careful on what you use to clean the belts as some cleaners can weaken the material and then it won't protect you in an accident.
