gene and guys,

I understand that there are only 2 options for the NAV (w\reartv or not), also its possible to play a DVD on both front and rear units at the same time!!BUT would itbe possible to the guyswho donot have a reartv system toplay a DVD movie on there stock NAV?? Or does this only work when you have a factory reartv?

I don't know the answer to your first question so maybe somone else will chime in here, but it depends on the nav unit itself which one will play dvd's on the screen. My nav unit with part number ending in 103 will NOT play dvd's on the screen and I have no rear dvd player.

Hmmm,
Ok so you get NO DVD up front in NAV unit(#103)

Has anyone who has NO RearTV tried gettting the unit ending in 767, and tried playing a DVD in there..would this even install (#767) on a no rearTV truck..and if not, how come?? different plugs??

Hey all...

The 103 unit will not play dvd vids, front or back. The 102 unit will.
Same as the 767 will not and the 766 will..

The answer to your question is yes. Many have done so.The 102 and 766 will play dvd vids up front even without the read flip down unit.

Have you put voice tags on your destinations?

help with the voice rec. problem --- the on star works great but the navigation system doesn't have voice reconization. states no voice detected. i called J.P. Customs and they advised they use to sell something to fix this but they don't anymore ---- they gave me another business to contact and i did so. They advised that there is no fix to this --- and i will not have voice reconization with the navigation system.

ANY one have any idea if this is correct?

thanks
