Here's a link to drawing that may help find the correct wire...

Thank you very much. I tapped in to a green/white wire in that block but it seemed it was wire or two higher on the junnction. Is there only one green white wire in that connector?

I will look when I get home however I am sure I went to the correct one. Thanks for the information.

The orientation of the picture may be different than the way you pulled your box out. I had a hard time with using a vampire tap and ended up cutting the grn/wht and using a butt splice. I twisted the VSS wire from the radio around one end of the grn/wht wire I cut and crimped them to one end of the butt splice. Then crimped the other end and it made a strong connection.

The orientation of the picture is actually the same. I will have to look again tonight when I get home. At least I am in the right connector and not the top one with the green/white wire. Thanks again.

Highly recommend soldering vs crimp-ons.

Default 09 tahoe LS nav and Camera install

i have a 09 tahoe LS i purchased at nav w/ dvd capabilities. i want to install it, but im scared to start cuz im worried its gonna be a nightmare. my hoe does have a OEM reverse cam in the rear-view mirror, so i need to know how i can redirct the image to the nav instead. i would also like to know if anyone has any pre-warnings for installing nav into a LS without bose system. thanks

I just installed a the nav system on my 2007 Tahoe lt. The truck is not equipted with rear camera or dvd. i used the part number 15882767. I installe the nav antena, radio antena, and the two plugs from my truck, just this system comes with four plugs. i assume that the other teo plugs are for rear dvd and camera. The unit says theft lock. A local gm dealer tech tried to unlock it, but he says my truck was not accepting the program. He also said this was his first upgrade, so i think he did not know how to program the unit. Can someone let me know if am on the right track here.

I have a 07 Hoe and installed the NAVI/DVD HU along with amp kit and GM pick.

All is working great...

I also bought the factory rear DVD unit. Along with that the "under headliner" bracket.

No problems there, however the harness from rear DVD unit to Front HU is what i am fighting.

I bought the plugs for the rear DVD unit, however the HU has a (C-13 i think its call, same plug as the speed senosr).

It is my guess that the rear DVD unit has a harnes and perhaps goes to the backup camera controller box located under the pass seat (which i dont have). ??? maybe???

Any idea about the connection from Rear DVD unit to the HU?

Thanks a ton, you will see i posted about the non bose install to try to help others, but this rear DVD unit has me stumped for now.

Thanks for any help.
