In looking at the 2015-2020 generation of Suburban/Tahoe, does the inclusion of the integrated trailer brake controller on the dash to the left of the steering wheel indicate it is on that version? Or is that integrated brake controller a stand alone option?

Any other indicators? Does the 6.2L engine always have the 8000 lbs towing capacity?

If it has an integrated brake controller and 2-speed transfer case, you have the max tow package. The integrated brake controller is not an option without the max tow package.

 

Thanks, Jason. Any easy way to spot that it's a 2-speed transfer case? I'm new to the Suburban/Tahoes. I expect that the integrated trailer brake is probably enough of an indicator in the end.

 

It would have the 4 high 4 low **** like the attached picture. Note the brake controller as well.
