I need to put a radio in my tahoe but i got a few questions that maybe ya'll can help with. I guess the previous owner put a after market radio in but cut off the the orginal wire harness. I was looking on ebay at wire harnesses for the tahoe and they have 2 different types. The cheap one won't work with the onstar/bose system what is a bummer. I do have onstar but i'm not sure if it has the bose radio system. I was wondering if there is some way to tell from the vin. Or if since I have onstar is it safe to assume that it has the bose system??

On the GMT900s, the tweeters in the A-pillars have the Bose name on them. Not sure if that's true for earlier models.

yeah im almost positive they would have bose somewhere in the int. where the speakers are.

 

I have Bose speakers, its written across the speaker screen...

 

On the NBS, Bose just makes the amp.
